The different options:
Frietmuseum Brussels offers school visits tailored to the age of the children,
from kindergarten classes up to higher education groups.
There are two visit options:
1. Visit with audioguide

Come and discover with your class the world of the Belgian fry and its star ingredient: the potato.

The audioguided visit (available in 11 languages) allows you to discover the history of the potato, the evolution of the fry over time, and the secrets of its perfect cooking.

At the end of the visit, you can exchange your audioguide for a delicious cone of fries. You can choose between traditional Belgian cooking in beef fat or cooking in vegetable oil.

Duration: approximately 90 minutes.

2. Guided tour of the museum

Discover the world of the fry, from the origin of the potato to the cooking of our famous Belgian fries. For 1.5 hours, the guide takes you on a flavorful journey to explore not only the history of the potato but also the evolution of the fry over time, its traditions, and the culture surrounding it in Belgium.

The visit ends with a tasting of a delicious cone of fries. You can choose between traditional Belgian cooking in beef fat or cooking in vegetable oil.

Duration: approximately 90 minutes.

By reservation only. One guide for a maximum of 20 people.

Price for the guided tour: €125 per guide, in addition to the entrance fee.

Price for a bilingual guide: €160 per guide, in addition to the entrance fee.

If you book a guide, after confirmation of the museum visit, you will be automatically redirected to our partner Itinéraires SH. This external service will be invoiced separately.

3. Visite combinée avec Choco Story Brussels

Frietmuseum is located opposite Choco Story Brussels, so you can easily combine visits to these two iconic products of our Belgian gastronomy.

Choco Story Brussels invites you to discover the history of cocoa and chocolate, as well as the production process from cocoa beans to our famous pralines.

The visit spans three floors. Audioguide, a demonstration with our chocolatier, and tastings are included in the entrance fee.
